What you will do:
- Aid in the creation of benchtop samples needed for sales presentations, ingredient qualifications, and internal evaluations.
- Support the lab and analytical testing of current products for innovation and renovation projects.
- Assist the Sensory Team in preparation of samples and data analysis.
- Assist the packaging engineering team evaluating current and potential primary and secondary packaging materials.
- Support the Innovation and Renovation initiatives of the company to help create new products and renovate existing ones, as needed.
- Contribute technical expertise and knowledge to guide and accelerate the development and reformulation of new and current products.
- Assist in the scalability of new products from benchtop to full scale production.
- Travel an average of 15% of the time.
Your experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Culinary Science, Food Engineering or equivalent food/beverage in CPG experience is required
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Docs is preferred
- Previous experience with food labeling software such as Genesis is preferred
- 1+ years working in Food Technology or Food Science is preferred
